This is the student facing, KCS aligned rubric I distributed at the outset of the unit. It gives students an idea of what they will be learning and the elements of the unit material they will need to focus on.

Unit Plan
This is the 6 week watercolor unit plan that I used for my Drawing and Painting class. It has links to the slideshows I used to help students learn about watercolor. It was the opening unit of the second semester and students benefitted from learning drawing first. Some skills in the drawing units, such as pen and ink washes, were especially transferable.
